Emaciated Boxer Doing Well

Sunday Rose is gaining strength and weight!

Many people have asked for an update on the boxer who was brought in on 4/13. We’ve named her Sunday Rose and in 7 days she’s gained 7 pounds.

She seems to be doing well at this stage in her recovery. We have people interested in adopting her and have adoption survey’s in line. When she is well, she will have a caring home. She’s able to go for walks now and we were able to snap a few photos of her today.

In the springtime our resources get stretched and it is because of your support that we are able to help animals like Sunday Rose. We have a donation form set-up in her honor.  She will be headed to an HSHV foster home soon. Thank you for your well wishes and offers of help. We’ll continue to keep you updated.

We have no information on why she was found in this condition. If you did see anything or have any information (found in Ann Arbor on Glacier Way), please call our Animal Cruelty and Investigation Team at (734)  661-3512.
