Loose Leash Walking - Virtual via Zoom
Loose Leash Walking
With the weather getting nicer, you probably want to be out walking your dog more, but are your leash walks more like "drags"? Do you want to take your dog out for a stroll without feeling like it is a going to be a full-body strength workout to hold on? Join us for a four-week, on-line class that will help you and your dog learn to keep that leash loose so you can both enjoy walks again.
How this works:
This class will meet as a group via live Zoom meetings every Thursday at 6pm for four weeks. These sessions will present lessons to work on, provide video demos, and answer questions/review progress. During the week, you will work on the exercises with your dog and submit video to the instructors for individual coaching before the next session.
You will need:
A computer or tablet with access to Zoom and ability to take video recording of you training your dog.
Not sure about an on-line class? Here are the advantages:
-If you want to maximize safety from COVID-19, you can still get instruction and individual coaching without exposure to others.
-If your dog is nervous/uncomfortable/reactive in a group environment, they can learn in the comfort of their own home.
-You can practice these skills in the environment where you will be using them - your home and neighborhood.
-Busy schedule? Juggling multiple demands and family life? Because our sessions are recorded, you can watch them and work on the homework whenever is convenient for you - you don't need to be present for the live session.
