Become a certified cat colony caregiver! 

This educational session is for anyone in the University of Michigan campus who is interested in learning how to help free roaming cats.

We will cover the following topics about how to successfully trap feral cats:

  • Tricks and tips of trapping
  • How to manage a colony
  • Proper nutrition and medical care needed

Learn best practices and gain access to the benefits of our TNR program, which includes discount feral cat spay/neuter, trap loans and networking. TNR of Washtenaw County and Canton cats is $20! Outside Washtenaw County is $35. TNR includes sterilization, ear tip, and rabies vaccine.

Representatives from the Humane Society of Huron Valley will be available to demonstrate techniques and answer questions. Written material will be provided.

Cost is $10—scholarships are available.
