Baby birdThe Bird Center of Washtenaw County is preparing to open for its 12th season of caring for and rehabilitating orphaned and injured wild songbirds! On Saturday, May 2, they will have their annual Flyaway Benefit and Dinner. Proceeds from this dinner directly benefit the Bird Center of Washtenaw County.

Dinner $55/person. RSVP by Apr. 29 to keithgette@gmail.com or (734) 475-2245.

Buffet dinner followed by videos, awards for volunteers and staff, and a keynote speech by former Ann Arbor mayor John Hieftje. Dinner includes with pot roast and vegetable lasagna, appetizers, desserts, and 1 cocktail.
