Join us on Friday, March 20th from 6:30-8:30pm for a vegan potluck, hosted by the Humane Society of Huron Valley and VegMichigan! Spend a fun Friday evening enjoying delicious vegan food, touring HSHV's state of the art animal shelter and connecting with new friends. What a fun way to celebrate Meat Out day!  

When: Friday, March 20th,  6:30-8:30pm

Where: This event is located in the Education Center at the Humane Society of Huron Valley, 3100 Cherry Hill Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. 

Program Fee: *New this year* To help offset the costs of the program, we are asking for a $5 per person fee, children age 10 and under are free and do not require advance registration. Please know that these fees are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another person if you cannot attend. 

Entertainment: We are excited to have VegMichigan hosting a trivia game this year, with fun prizes, including a gift card from Fresh Forage! In addition to trivia, the event will inlcude guided tours of HSHV, great company and delicious food. 

Details

• For each adult attending, please bring a vegan* dish to share that serves at least 8 people OR a $10 donation (in addition to the $5 registration fee). (Children do not need to bring a dish or donation.) Proceeds from donations will benefit VegMichigan.

• Please also remember to bring plates, cups, and silverware for everyone in your group as well as serving utensils for your dish. We will have a few available but in an effort to keep our event waste free, bringing your own is very helpful!

• For any food that requires a crockpot, please bring an extension cord if you need to plug it in during the event
• Please label your dish and bring a copy of the recipe for people to take a photo of

*Vegan means no meat/fish, eggs, dairy, or honey. Please read labels carefully if using packaged products.
