goatA staff person from the Humane Society of Huron Valley's Humane Education Team will discuss the topic of "Animal Welfare in Our Society." This discussion will include information on common animal welfare issues in our society, including animal testing, animals in entertainment and factory farming. Attendees will be encouraged to consider and discuss how to expand their circle of compassion and take a look at how their daily choices may impact animals, humans and the environment.
